Betting Rules

1. Odds

1.1 Odds can be shown as fractions (for example 5/2) or decimals (3.50). The format does not change the bet. A £10 bet at 5/2 returns £35 if it wins: £25 winnings plus the £10 stake.

1.2 Prices change as information changes. The price that applies to your bet is the one shown when the bet is accepted, not the one you saw earlier.

1.3 If a price changes between adding a selection and placing the bet, the Bet Slip shows both prices and asks you to accept the new one. If you have ticked Accept price changes automatically, the bet is placed at the current price without asking.

1.4 Where a price is clearly wrong because of a human or technical error, the bet is settled at the correct market price at the time. If none can be established, the bet is void.

2. Bet acceptance

2.1 A bet is accepted when it appears in My Bets with the status Open. Until then it may be declined, in full or in part.

2.2 Bets are only accepted from verified accounts with enough balance to cover the stake. The stake is taken from your balance when the bet is accepted.

2.3 The minimum stake is £0.10 and the maximum stake per bet is £5,000.00. We may set lower maximum stakes on individual markets.

2.4 A bet placed after the event or market has started, where in-play betting is not offered, is void.

2.5 Once accepted, a bet cannot be cancelled or changed by you.

3. Settlement

3.1 Bets are settled on the official result declared by the relevant governing body or event organiser at the end of the event. Later changes, such as results altered on appeal, are ignored unless we have not yet settled the bet.

3.2 Winnings are credited to your balance when a bet is settled. Returns include the stake.

3.3 If we settle a bet incorrectly, we will correct it. This may mean adding to or deducting from your balance.

4. Cancelled and postponed events

4.1 If an event is cancelled, bets on it are void unless the market has already been decided unconditionally.

4.2 If an event is postponed or abandoned and is not completed within 48 hours of its original start time, bets on markets not already decided are void. Racing and golf follow their own rules in sections 9 and 10.

4.3 If the venue changes, bets stand unless the new venue is the home ground of the original away team, in which case match bets are void.

5. Void bets

5.1 A void bet is treated as though it was never placed. The stake is returned to your balance.

5.2 Bets are void in the circumstances listed in these rules, and also where a participant named in the bet does not take part, where a bet was placed after the result was known, or where we reasonably believe the outcome was influenced improperly.

5.3 In a multiple, a void selection is removed and the bet is recalculated on the remaining selections. A treble with one void leg becomes a double.

6. In-play betting

6.1 In-play markets are offered on events under way and listed on the Live Betting page. Scores, times and statistics shown are for information and may be delayed. Settlement follows the official result, not what is displayed.

6.2 Markets may be suspended at any moment, for example when a goal, penalty or break point is likely. Bets cannot be placed while a market is suspended.

6.3 In-play bets may take a few seconds to accept. If the price or the state of the event changes in that time, the bet may be declined or returned to you with a new price.

6.4 Bets accepted after an event has happened that affects the market, for example after a goal was scored, are void.

7. Multiples

7.1 A multiple combines selections from different events. All selections must win for the bet to win, and the winnings from each leg roll on to the next.

7.2 Selections whose outcomes are related, including more than one selection from the same event, cannot be combined in a multiple.

8. Each way and dead heats

8.1 An each-way bet is two bets of equal stake: one to win and one to be placed. The place terms (for example 1/5 the odds, 6 places) are part of the market name.

8.2 Where two or more selections tie for a position that pays, the stake is divided by the number of selections tied, and that portion is paid at full odds.

9. Horse racing

9.1 Bets are settled on the result declared at the "weighed in" signal. Subsequent disqualifications do not affect settlement.

9.2 If a runner is withdrawn after a market has formed and is not replaced, winning bets on other runners may be reduced under Tattersalls' Rule 4. The deduction depends on the price of the withdrawn runner at the time.

9.3 Bets on a withdrawn horse are void. If a race is abandoned or declared void, all bets on it are void.

10. Sport-specific rules

Football

Markets are settled on the score at the end of 90 minutes plus injury time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded unless the market name says otherwise.

Tennis

If a match starts but is not completed, match bets stand if at least one set has been completed and the player who progresses is the winner. Otherwise bets are void. Set betting is void if the match is not completed.

Golf

Outright bets stand once a player has started the first round. Tournaments shortened by weather are settled on the official result. Bets on players who withdraw before teeing off are void.

Basketball

Money line bets include overtime.

Cricket

Draw No Bet markets are void if the match is drawn or tied. For limited-overs matches affected by weather, the result under the official method used in the match applies.

Rugby union

Markets are settled on 80 minutes of play, excluding extra time. Handicap markets include the stated points adjustment.

Darts and snooker

If a match starts but is not completed, bets are void unless the market has already been decided.

Boxing

Fight Winner (Draw No Bet) bets are void if the fight is a draw. If the scheduled number of rounds changes, bets stand.

11. Cash Out

11.1 Cash Out is not currently available on Fruity King. Accepted bets run until the market is settled. If Cash Out is introduced, these rules will be updated before it goes live.
